Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast

In the market for a new favorite breakfast, appetizer, or snack? This recipe is simple to create, packed with flavor and texture, AND is packed with nutrients. What could be better?

Lightly toasted sourdough, topped with avocado spread, smoked salmon, red onions, dill, and capers is one of my go-to recipes that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

Ingredients

  • Avocado Spread
  • 1 Avocado

  • 1 Lemon juice

  • Dash of garlic powder

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • Other
  • Smoked salmon

  • Toasted sourdough

  • Fresh dill

  • Capers

  • Red onion

Directions

  • Slice avocado and mash then add lemon juice, and seasoning, and mix together.
  • Toast sliced sourdough in the oven on broil or in a skillet until lightly browned and crisp.
  • Spread avocado mixture on toasted sourdough and top with remaining herbs and veggies.
  • Squeeze a bit of lime juice on top, serve immediately and Enjoy!

Notes

  • There's no way to mess up this recipe. Adjust seasoning and toppings to your liking and enjoy. 
  • ** Trader Joe's has a wonderful variety of smoked salmon options. Delicious and affordable!
